U-Man: General Updates and Statements as of 09.01.2020

 

Introduction.

Hey guys, the UMC Manager here, welcome back to my blog. It has been two months since I’ve stopped uploading on YouTube, and despite I’ve been truly busy I really miss uploading videos to my channel and interacting with you all. In here I’m going to explain some stuff that were mostly the key reason about why I’ve left and some updates that might come in the future affecting the whole U-Man environment. I know, it’s just 2 months, but I am truly not lying guys, I really miss uploading and making more fun content for you.

I’m going first to announce the updates, then we’re going to answer a few questions about why did I decided to give myself a break from uploading. Keep reading down below.

Returning back to the experimental editing on scary vintage logos and non-copyrighted content.

One of the first and main updates that will affect the U-Man’s whole environment is the change of sources back from meme videos to vintage logos, non-copyrighted music and non-copyrighted gags. Yes, I will still be using these old golden meme videos and use them to experiment some effects and other fun stuff on it, but mostly would be vintage logos from now on.

I think it’s an excellent way to restart on logo editing, since it was originally the content format I had since 2012, it was the main key to success on this truly fun YouTube journey.

Possible return of SSuniaga7050 by renaming back the channel - It’ll depend from you!

One of the thoughts I had, is about renaming back my channel to SSuniaga7050, and leave it permanently as that. The channel has suffered several name changes: TannerFans146, Sonic Five, SonicFive1, SONICFIVE, Kyzenah, Kyzenahious, U-Man, etc. This, sadly has badly affected my population during these years, but mostly all people commit mistakes, and I truly regret it changing it several times the past 10 years.

Now here’s the update part: renaming it back will mostly depend from you folks! I will be releasing in the future a free open poll where you can choose if leaving it as U-Man, or renaming it back (and to make it its permanent name) to SSuniaga7050. I will keep you updated on this blog, and might release another update video when this comes out.

A bit of everything. Not just IL Vocodex based effects.

The channel content has pretty much got based in just IL Vocodex made presets, and it’s time to change that. This doesn’t mean all these effects will stop appearing on my daily content, they will keep appearing. But it’s time to try another new stuff, new effects, whether from me, or from another logo editing youtuber. During my return phase, which I hope it will be pretty much soon, all the IL Vocodex based effects will have a break, mostly to show you all the newer projects that will come along with the return. I repeat, this does not mean all these effects will be gone, they will keep appearing, but not as often as I used to do. It’s time to try some new things!

I’m also looking forward to be trying all your effects, I think there are dozens of tutorials around YouTube, so it wouldn’t be much complicated to score.

Releasing all the effects done from this journey to the public, no fees will be applied.

One of the updates mostly everyone would love to read: yes, I will release tutorials from all these effects you guys love, starting from the easy ones to the complicated ones. Since the website has this storage feature, I think it would be way easier to redact all these, with no fees applied.

I really appreciate your help and support through this journey, in the highs and in the lows, and I feel urged to thank you back, so this could be one of the gifts I’m giving you back. Expect a ton of instruction booklets with the needed resources in the future. You might ask, why not video tutorials? Well, there’s an issue that actually won’t allow me to do this, but I’ll explain that later in here.

Touching Beyond a better defined Sky. More quality. 4K 60fps content for the future, God willing.

I expect in my full return to provide you the best content with the best quality ever. Yep, U-Man content in UHD. I’ve attempted to make this project in so many times, all of them unsuccessful, sadly. You might had noticed the average quality of my content is 720p, 60fps, sometimes 1080i 30fps for lightweight projects, and lately has been 480p 25fps for heavier projects. And this is somehow not fair for you guys, because my main score is to give you the best in Logo or Video Editing in the highest video quality and the highest audio fidelity. Sadly haven’t used a proper GPU (Graphics Card) nor a proper CPU (Central Processing Unit) to score all these goals, that’s something I will explain better down below, and might need your help to achieve that.

No official contact methods will longer be provided. Only YouTube comments.

Due to some ongoing situation that I’ll explain later down below, no more official contacting methods will longer be provided to you guys, at least until that situation gets mostly calmed, or even better, solved for good. All other contact accounts, whether on Discord or Skype (I know Skype isn’t used anymore, but there’s that minimum possibility), or any other social media website is completely not official nor approved by myself and shall be immediately reported. The Facebook page is completely outdated and no support is being given, and there won’t be, since 2015.

So, for now, if you feel you want to tell me something or just want to say “Hi”, the better choice is to make it through YouTube comments.

Ad revenues were re-enabled. For only one cause. A main cause that will help me provide an enhanced content.

You might have been noticing ads are currently running in mostly all of my videos. No matter in what device do you see them, could be your PC as it could be your phone, your tablet, even your game system. And indeed, there are ads running for mostly all of them. This is mostly for a cause, which will be something I will explain down below.

So, resuming this update information, ads started running since August 15^th, and will keep rolling on from now and beyond needed, to achieve that specific goal, which mostly will define how long will I be hiatusing from uploads.

Expanding to other platforms. Same content. U-Man, now available on LBRY.

Yep guys, I’ve expanded U-Man to another video sharing platform. It’s called LBRY. It’s pretty much new, if you feel like trying it, it’s truly easy to register and link accounts. Really nice staff team. (Not sponsored by them, by the way). I’ve decided to choose it as my alternative video platform, mainly for the content freedom, and second for the rewards. Now, after announced all the updates as for now (there are more to come, but this is what I can say for now.), let’s go by answering a few questions.

 

Why did I decided to “leave”?

There are various reasons that made me take this hard decision. Some of them are mostly personal, some of them are not. I’m going to enumerate some of them here. I hope this could answer some of the questions you might have about this situation.

1.      The personal reasons.

I can’t tell much about this, for obvious reasons, but I’ll tell you guys a brief glimpse. There’s a lot of real life situations everyone has to pass through, and I’m on one of these. Had got me truly stressful and busy lately, and my purpose isn’t making content with stress. The key is to make them with love and affection. Running U-Man has been truly a passion for me, and I can’t let real life problems to get into it, and ruin it all.

2.      The video-making station is in a true state of decay, and needs to be replaced. I truly need your help to keep this passion alive and strong.

Yeah guys. As I’ve stated before, my goal is to provide you the best content in the best quality ever, sadly can’t provide you that due to my current computer. Instead, it was going from HD 720p to SD 480p. It was going instead worse. So this is also one of the reasons that caused the hiatus period. This doesn’t mean the current computer I have is broken, it is not. It’s just outdated, and sadly with the resources it has, I sadly can’t provide you the perfect content as expected and mentioned above. This is the reason ads are being displayed on all my videos, and also the reason I’ve expanded myself to LBRY. You might say, but ad revenue does give you a huge amount of money… yeah they do. But currently, as my channel is on a hiatus, views and interactions went down, this highly affects the earnings.

To achieve this goal, I truly need your help. Donations are totally not required, but hugely appreciated. If you feel like making a donation, could be economical or in any form, you can contact me through YouTube or here in the blog, down in the comments section, I’ll be happy to respond. The main cause is to upgrade that “video-making station” to provide you all, the best videos ever in UHD 60fps. Thank you very much, in advance.

3.      Preparing myself for a future profession.

As everyone else, you have to study to have a profession that could establish your current life and your future. This is also one of the projects I’ve mentioned before, as I’m looking forward to study what I truly like to do, to be someone in the future. That passion each single person loves to do, and does the best to develop it for your future.

And always remember, do what you love to do, no matter what people say, if it’s your passion, then it’s your passion, and give the best of you to reach all your scores along with that passion.

4.      The whole U-Man environment is currently suffering a truly unpleasant community experience.

Nobody likes getting harassed. Nobody. Sadly, this is one situation taking over the channels, which slowly had been trying to ruin its clean image. Everything just for certain kind of effects I’ve made before, even if I was clear they were private and they would be released as it gets the right moment to. But seems like none of these are impediments for that group of persons. I’m not going to say who those are, as I’m not going to sponsor them nor give them free advertisement. This has lead me to cancel all types of contacting methods, as they’re prompted to abuse these, and abuse the trust it gets given. It has reached first YouTube, with the comment spamming with multi-accounts, main reason all comments will be under review from now on, and no requests will be longer accepted.

Then it all came to the Discord platform, multi-accounts, and huge abuse of trust. This also includes the full investigation, or at least attempt, of your channel and your environment. This doesn’t end here.

It now came to Facebook, where my page is, with message spamming, and high attempts to get your personal information, such as name, photos, date of birth and address. Oh, and don’t forget the abuse of not just trust, but everything, and having such a bad, and truly rude behavior. This is completely not right.

I truly don’t care if the channel layout and/or videos get imitated, it’s such a great compliment for me, as I know I’m being someone else’s internet “role model”. The issue comes when this person steals your content without further permission nor credit, impersonates you in a concerning way and even tries to stalk you.

My true and sincere apologies for the huge complaint written above, but this issue had to be said, it’s not right, it’s truly rude and disrespectful, and no one deserves getting such a situation like this one. No matter if it's a youtuber or any other kind of public entertainment figure, this doesn’t give you the right to abuse the trust given by someone else you don’t even know in person.

5.      A content format re-development.

A must thing to do after the computer situation gets solved, and the return date is announced is mainly upgrade my editing skills. Not just use the basic software to make video editing, but experiment with other stuff, to provide upgraded and way better content, this means the usage of newer and advanced video editing software, including other programs currently not designed for video editing, to make new content. Despite everything, it’s all about experimenting and having fun, isn’t it? Trial and error.

“Off camera”, I’ve been trying newer software to make other things to enhance my videos, and they’ve gone pretty much amazing. I’m truly looking forward to share with you all the upgrades the channel will get, starting from content formats to literally everything around it.

Will you ever come back to YouTube?

Of course I will do! And I will never leave it, this channel and its loyal and supportive audience is the most appreciated and most valuable thing I have ever on my life. You guys have such a high value to me, and I refuse to let you go just for certain issues everyone gets. I’m looking forward to prepare something big, really big, when I come back to YouTube. 10 years aren’t easily given to anyone, 10 years of service and work to make what is U-Man (Or maybe SSuniaga7050, in the future, who knows?) today.
